Fearing’s Restaurant

Called one of the “most popular restaurants in Texas, Fearing’s Restaurant is not to be missed. People call Chef Dean Fearing the father of Southwestern cuisine. He grew up with two grandmothers who loved to cook. Today, Chef Fearing continues to use their recipes and even included a few in his cookbook, The Texas Food Bible. The restaurant’s guests include celebrities and heads of state. It’s a place to see and be seen, and you never know who might walk through the doors. Offerings include buffalo tenderloin, lobster coconut bisque, and seared Gulf snapper.

Knife

Owned by Executive Chef John Tesar, Knife reinvents the steakhouse experience. Chef Tesar has twice competed on Top Chef and gains recognition from national publications. He got his start in New York before opening restaurants here in Dallas. Knife offers a warm, modern atmosphere. It comes complete with dim lighting, a cozy fireplace, and an open kitchen where you can watch as the chefs prepare your meal. Menu offerings include a rack of lamb, oxtail ravioli, and butter-poached lobster.

Lonesome Bistro

At the Lonesome Dove Bistro, Chef Tim Love takes inspiration from the Wild West. He has a vibrant personality and innovative dishes. Chef Love often appears at festivals and has also cooked on news programs like the Today Show and Good Morning America. Dinner offerings include Rocky Mountain elk loin, steelhead trout, and chili relleno.
